Obituary of Mary Elizabeth Cummings

Peacefully at the Hamilton General Hospital on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 in her 89th year. Beloved wife of Jim. Predeceased by first husband George Oswald. Cherished mother of Randy Oswald and his late wife Nancy, as well as the late Lynn Oswald. Loving grandmother of Kal (Cathie) Polgar, Anita Polgar, Jennifer Dann (Mike), Sarah Oswald-Ironside (Doug). Great-grandmother of Nashelle, Nadine, Alexa, Kurtis, Cody, Chara, Ashley, Tanner, Parker, Grayson, and Great-great-grandchildren Jaden and Skylar. Loved step-mother of Rory (Janice) Cummings, Sean (Mary Rose) Cummings, and Kevin (Sharon) Cummings. Grandmother to Amanda, Katie, Bridget, Liam, Nicholas, and Kelsey. Special thanks to the Hamilton General Hospital for all their care. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, Ontario, on Monday, March 31, 2014 from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel. Cremation has taken place.
