Obituary of Shirley Ursula Cochlin

COCHLIN, Shirley Ursula (nee Laidman) March 15, 1937-November 26, 2011. At her residence on Saturday, November 26, 2011. Loved and Loving wife for 52 years of and to Jon. Proud mother of sons Jay (Lesley) and Charles (Linda), and grandson Kevin. Survived by brother-in-law James and wife Joan of Markdale and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Glen, Irvine, Neal, and sister Fern Finton. Last child of her late parents Leslie Laidman and Alice Whitwell. Shirley made many lasting friendships as an Avon Rep. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, December 1st at 11 a.m. Interment Binbrook United Cemetery.
