Shirley was an Avon representative for my mother and I on Garside Ave N for many years in the past. I did have the opportunity of running into her at the mall on Saturday. We had a nice little chat. She was a very nice woman, and will be sadly missed. Our thoughts are with you and your family at this time.

Shirley was my Avon LADY for many, many years. She was the nicest, kindest person I have ever known. We had many long conversations on the phone. She took all the health issues sent her way 'in her stride'. She surely will be missed by all who knew & loved her.

You have lost a very special person in your life- a wife, mother, grandmother and I have lost my best friend. Shirley was a very special lady and I will miss more than words can say. She was there for me whenever I needed her and always had kind word or a hug to help me along. Her smile and phone calles always brighten my day.
Sorry for your loss. My heart goes out to you in your time of need.

Dear Jon:
It's a sad day in our neighbourhood as we have lost a truly sweet lady who always brightened our day.
The Cole family will miss Shirley calling for Smokey, that rascally cat who always seemed to be hiding just out of sight in order to get Shirley's attention.
Take care Jon
Sincerely, Dan and Brenda

I remember how Jon would light up when he spoke about Shirley. I met her only briefly in the winners circle several times; she was lovely. I can only imagine the immense impact she must have had on people who saw her daily. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Jon and family during this time.
