There has never been a time in my whole life when there was no Uncle Lyle. It saddens us greatly to let him go. He has always been a wonderful person, kind and helpful in a quiet, unassuming way. His brain was a good one to pick and somehow we suppose that his acute memory is still working better than that of the rest of us even in his passing. A great memory I have is of the two of us taking off one afternoon shortly after the time that his heart had stopped. Aunt Dora was out for lunch with some friends and he felt like getting out. We went to where the family farm used to be and after that he treated me to lunch at Tim's, Grays Rd & Barton. When his friends there asked him where he had been, he replied, " Apparently, I died. "! God be with you 'til we meet again, favourite Uncle. Condolences to Aunt Dora, Don, Carrie and family.
