Hi Peggy, How sorry I was to hear of the loss of your dear mother, and also to have missed her memorial service. She endeared herself to so many people over her lifetime. We had some good visits over the years. My mother and father (Norm & Yvonne Watson) enjoyed a wonderful and long-lasting relationship with your mom (and Dad) over the years. Mrs.McVittie was a long time customer of are garage(McDougalls Garage),she always made the day brighter every time she came in,with her smile and always upbeat attitude.I always enjoyed talking with her and sharing a laugh together.She was a wonderful Lady who will not be forgotten.Are condolences to the family.
