Obituary of David Donald Rayment

Entered peacefully into the presence of the Lord, at the Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice, on Friday, January 10, 2014, in his 72nd year. Beloved husband of Adele (Hutchinson). Loving father of Phil and his wife Sarah and Janine Elvin and her husband Doug. Cherished grandfather of Micaela, Ethan, Connor and Zachary. Loved son-in-law of Claire Hutchinson. Predeceased by his parents Harold and Evelyn Rayment and father-in-law Percy Hutchinson. Dear brother of Dennis (Pat), Marilyn Noakes (Bern), Paul (Marlene), sister-in-law Marie Wettlaufer (Don) and brothers-in-law Tom Hutchinson (Carol) and Bill Hutchinson (Catherine). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. David was a Lifelong Member of the Salvation Army and was an avid musician. He will be remembered by his family and friends for his warm heart and gentle spirit. Special thanks to the Doctors and Staff at the Juravinski Hospital and the Staff and Volunteers at the Dr. Kemp Hospice for all of their compassion and care. Friends will be received at the Mountain Citadel of The Salvation Army, 835 Stone Church Rd. E., Hamilton, on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at the Mountain Citadel on Monday, January 13, 2014 at 1 p.m. Interment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
