My wife and I have known Dave since our childhood. Leta has many memories from Music Camp and I have memories of Dave from Argyle when my family started to go there in the late 1960's. Seeing Dave in the Senior Band and always playing some sort of Bass. Then Dave and I crossed paths again when I started to work for Dofasco. Dave was a painter in the area I was working at the time, so we would chat a few times. (talked about his times and trip with the CSB). When Leta and I went to CSB concerts, there was Dave in the back row playing Bass. So Adele, Phil and Sarah, Janine Elvin and Doug. Micaela, Ethan, Connor and Zachary, Dennis (Pat), Marilyn Noakes (Bern), Paul (Marlene), sister-in-law Marie Wettlaufer (Don) and brothers-in-law Tom Hutchinson (Carol) and Bill Hutchinson (Catherine), His nieces and nephews, please know that you have been in our prayers and our thoughts for a while and we will keep praying for you. We are asking God to give you His Peace and His Strength to go through this and to realize that God is taking care of everyone. The past few days I have been thinking on how many lives Dave has touched, and the influence Dave had with his walk with God, and how many people may have come to know Christ, through your husband, Dad, Brother, Grandfather, and Uncle's witness. Remember the tears we shed mean God has allowed us to Love someone and for that someone to love you back. Also hold onto the Promise from God that we will see Dave some day again...
