Obituary of Harry Douglas Wilson

WILSON, Harry Douglas Passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 11, 2009 in his 83rd year, with his family by his side. Predeceased by his wife Patricia. Harry will be dearly missed by his loving wife Doris. Cherished father of Beverly, Clark (Lynda), Bruce (Donna), Lynn, Steve (Stacey), Wayne (Sharon), Lorraine (Joe), Brenda (Stan) and Nancy (Mel). Will be remembered by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Harry was a long time employee of Prudential Insurance (retired). Heartfelt thanks to the staff at Parkview Meadows Gardenview LTC and West Haldimand General Hospital, especially nurse Judy, during his final hours. Friends will be received at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Lake Avenue Dr., Stoney Creek on Thursday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday, October 16, 2009 at 10 a.m. Interment Fifty Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, if so desired, donations to Parkview Meadows Gardenview LTC or Townsend Community Church would be greatly appreciated by the family.
