The Staff at Gardenview posted a condolence
Thursday, October 15, 2009
Harry was a resident at Gardenview for nearly four years. What an impact he made on our staff! Harry was a cheerful, loving man who often had a big smile and a twinkle in his eye. An extremely ambitious man, Harry always needed things to do. Staff sometimes ran out of ideas on how to keep him busy. Harry always took things apart in an attempt to fix anything and everything. He had a great sense of rhythm and loved to keep the beat whenever he listened to music. How he loved his Doris who countless times took him to her apartment. She also took him to many church services and hymn sings. Harry was touched by the gospel and in the latter part of his life, when Doris became unwell, would attend services on his own.. Gardenview will never be quite the same since this colourful man went to Jesus. We will meet again, Harry.

From: Ethel and John Waldick of Peacock Point. I am so sorry for your loss Lynn but your father is now at peace and not hurting anymore and that is something to be thankful for. He will be missed by his loved ones but you always have your memories and they never are taken from you and that's how you will remember your dad and the happy times you had over the years with him.
