Dear Bev and Peter
We are very saddened to hear about Dorothy's passing. She was a wonderful lady and we got to know her well at New Village. She cared for everyone and we always appreciated what she did for my Mom, Ruth Wilkinson. I hope both of you and family are doing okay. We just saw this notice today, as we do not have the Spectator up north. We continue to cope with our losses and think of both of you today. Kind regards,
Carol and Carson

My Precious Dorothy, words cannot explain how I'm feeling right now, I am so sorry, you were one in a million good person on this earth, your kindness, your values, your loveliness, your smile, and much more. We worked together for the longest time, and it was nothing but laughter with you around, and even when we lost track of each other and met again later it was like we never lost track. I really thought we had more time to sit and chit chat, cause you were so jolly as usual, my only regret is that I never come knocking at your door instead of waiting for you to tell me when. There's no doubt that you're one of God's angel, sweet dreams sweet angel.

To the Whitaker family: may you all find peace in the coming days ahead, they will be extremely hard for you all.I sit here and my heart aches for my dear friend Dorothy, what a compassionate, loving, honest, and loyal person she was.I hated seeing her in pain, but she would always hide it well.I know she is free of pain, and soaring with the angels in heaven.
I so enjoyed working side by side with her in the dining room of NVRH.Her and I would sing songs for the residents, which they loved.
I am going to miss the times we would go to the "Thrift stores" together,!There was so much I wanted to tell her, but never got the chance.I last saw her in July, and was so thankful for that.
My dear sweet angel, Dorothy may you Rest In Peace, until we meet again. I love you, and I miss you!

I worked with you for several years. You were a happy person to work with and I am so sorry this happened to you but I guess God picked you to be with him. You were always so proud of your children and grandchildren and Pete whom I had met when his mother was with us. My thoughts and prayers have been with you since you left work and I pray your family will find comfort with each other.

Mom,
As I walk through the journey of life I remember.
I remember how you helped me grow with love, truth and honesty.
I remember how you helped me to choose the right path with values, morals and self worth.
I remember how you gave me dreams with hope and confidence.
As I remember, I pray to be a mother like you, to shape my children into strong adults, full of hopes and dreams.
You made me who I am today and I will always remember you in life passings for no one could touch my life as you have.
I am thankful that you are free of pain but I miss you so much, it hurts so bad. I love you so much and I am going miss talking on the phone every morning. You are the first person I want to talk to when I need advice or cheering up. I will be strong because you made me into a strong woman. You always had a smile to make us feel better, even near the end and I love you so much for that. Rest peacefully mom. Until we meet again xoxoxxox

God Took Her To His Loving Home
God saw her getting tired, a cure was not to be.
He wrapped her in his loving arms and whispered ‘Come with me.’
She suffered much in silence, her spirit did not bend.
She faced her pain with courage, until the very end.
She tried so hard to stay with us but her fight was not in vain,
God took her to His loving home and freed her from the pain.
I will never forget you Mum, you were the best Mum a girl could ask for and I hope you are resting peacefully. I cannot stop my tears and heartache but I will try to remember the good memories we had and find peace with your passing. It just seems so unfair that you were taken so young. I Hope you will check in with us once in awhile and let me know your here. God I miss you!! It's not goodbye for me but I will see you later.
Your Forever in My Heart Mum xoxo

To Bev, Nikki, Richard and Family:
It's the little things, the small, everyday occurrences that you'll remember. The laughs, the stories, the smiles. And even though it seems like you can never recover from your loss, it is these very memories that will help push the pain away and bring back the smiles.
with heart sympathy on the loss of your Mum.
