to the family and friends of Rose Sorrell
Though most of you probably don't know me, I have known Rose since around 1946 when she worked in my Uncle Bert Kipp's store on Kenilworth Avenue in Hamilton and she later worked for my Dad in his store. From 1954 to 1966 she lived next door to us on at Winona. My late wife and I have had many pleasant visits with her when she visited Calgary or when we visited Ontario. She was like a surrogate mother to me and I will miss her very much, Your notice in the Ham. Spec. says it all. She was a great person. I'm sorry I cannot be there, but my heart is with you all. Ken.
