I worked for Bud from 1979 until 1984. He was one of the kindest people I have ever known. He was always calm and caring, and had a gentle way of managing his staff. He was always smiling, and always spoke so lovingly of Lola. I left the bank to stay home with my children, but attended another retirement party a few years later. There I asked for Bud's home address and he gave it to me, though he wondered what I had in mind. From then on, we exchanged Christmas cards every year. Bud was a great mentor, and a true friend. He had a very positive influence on me and my life. He will be missed and remembered by many.
