We were sorry to learn of John's passing. As kids in the 1950's, in Burlington, we knew him as "Uncle Jack". We remember some fun times spent around the kitchen table at our house, after Jack helped Dad put up a decorative concrete wall one summer, or when he brought the books and ledgers over, for Mom to do the book-keeping for the construction firm.
That was nearly 50 years ago, and we were to see Jack only once since then, and very briefly. Although it now seems a long time ago, he has touched our lives, and we remember him, and his zest for life, fondly.
We wish to extend our sympathy to the family. Jack will be missed, but always remembered with a smile.

We are so sorry to hear of the passing of John Robinson. We met him at Stoney Creek United Church, where we joked about being related. He was always friendly and entertaining - a great story-teller. We are keeping Jean and the family in our thoughts and prayers.
