Those wishing to view Harry's Slideshow Tribute can do so by googling "Harry Ramsden Tribute YouTube."
The Slideshow was made first and foremost for my father, who viewed it twice while at St. Peter's. He enjoyed the music and asked for several photos to be paused. As he had a great sense of humour, the slideshow is deliberately upbeat. He was very entertained by it and I'm sure he would want it shared with all his friends, and that is why it was part of the program at the Celebration of Life Reception. Please take a look if you haven't seen it. It covers Harry's life from a youngster to age 88 and aims to showcase all the wonderful aspects of his personality. Many thanks to my young friend and technical wizard, Kyle Ramm, who helped me make it--it took over 2 months to put together and has over 100 slides. Harry shines in the starring role. It is a "forever tribute" there for everyone who loved my dad. The section on Olga, his wife, is taken from a special photo album he himself assembled and called "My Wife," and all the early photos are from albums he meticulously organized and dated. My father also loved to film home movies to document many aspects of family life, and so this Slideshow is a gift in return.

Who could ever forget that fantastic tree house and the pool with the beautiful deck? What craftsmanship! Mr. Ramsden was always so nice to us neighbourhood kids whenever we stopped by to get Craig out for ball hockey or side-lot football. And who could ever forget Mr. Ramsden's whistle when it was time to come home? It could be heard for miles around! He was a great husband and dad.

Mrs. Ramsden & family: I am so sorry for your loss, reading
of Harry's passing brought back fond memories of a very
special man. I met Harry as a young girl of 21,in 1967, I worked in the shop office of his division. I was met every morning with a smile and a wave. He was a kind man, always happy and smiling and a great sense of humour, always had us laughing. He had the love and respect of all
who knew him. I know you will miss him dearly.
