Obituary of Norman Walter McKenzie

MCKENZIE, Norman Walter Passed away peacefully at McMaster Medical Centre on Sunday, August 9, 2009, in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of the late Mary (Smith). Loving father of Douglas (Laura), Lee Ann Haley (Lorne) and the late Mary Lynn (1971). Predeceased by his parents, his brother Gordon and a nephew Paul. Will also be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Norman was friendly to all and had a great sense of humour. He taught school for many years at Saltfleet, Winona and Orchard Park High Schools as well as sharing his love for wood working through night school classes. Norman will be greatly missed by family and friends. Cremation has taken place. There will be a Celebration of Norman's Life on Saturday, August 15th, at 11 a.m. at Ryerson United Church, 265 Wilson St., Ancaster.
