Our thoughts and prayers are with the McKenzie Family. May you find strength and comfort in the pleasant memories that will be cherished forever.
Norman has a special place in my heart as he was an inspiration for me. In the mid 1970's I was blessed with his interest to teach me many woodworking skills after school. He ensured that I practised safety around all the woodworking machines and offerred guidance and encouragement as each project evolved.
Later in life I was blessed to encounter him through our church and would later arrange for him to come to our home in December where I know he enjoyed visiting the family farm in Binbrook. He really enjoyed examining all my woodworking projects as well as my father's lathe projects. Our day together will continue to warm my heart forever.
Sincerely, Myra James

To: Lee Ann Haley and all Family Members
We were indeed saddened at the passing of your father.
I will certainly miss the engaging conversations we had from time to time at Church on Sundays. Norm will be missed by all members of Ryerson and I am sure many others. He was a true gentleman
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Thinking about your family at this time. He was a wonderful man who had a zest for life. We should all be inspired by him.

To: Normans Special Family
Norman came into my life within the last couple of years but he is one of those people you feel you have known "all of your life". I quickly came to love, respect and honor this man for who he was and what he stood for. Take pride in the fact that your father was loved and respected here at his home at Shalom by everyone who knew him. Norm, you were a "gentle" man.... may you rest in peace.

Please know that we understand and feel your loss. Norman was certainly a gentleman, always respectful of others and it was a pleasure to share his company Sunday mornings at church.
