I just heard the sad news of your mom's death. I will always remember Flo's kindness to me when I was a child, and how she always made your house the funnest place to be in Winona. She made everyone feel welcome and special. She was truly a lovely person, and I like to think that she and Evans are holding hands up there and watching over you all with pride.

When they lived next door to us (or, given that they were here first, when we lived next door to them) we would frequently see Evans and Flo in their driveway coming and going. However busy they were they always had time for a friendly wave, and a big smile. Some people radiate kindness and hospitality and few could ever hope to do it as well as did Evans and Flo. We miss them a lot!
