I am so sorry for your loss...he will be missed as well this marks an end of another era. I am sure Uncle Fred is catching up with Aunt Mae, Evelyn, Helen,Grandad, Grandma and dad right now as I am writing this-I can see them having a huge gab fest eating a piece of pie and some of Grandmas canned peaches. No words can describe the loss of a parent /grandparent when dad died we were told some very wise words and that was take your time mourning, every one feels as though they have to rush through it-dont. Sometimes it can take over a year to really go through the different stages of mourning. Dont deny yourselves this it is part of the healing process. I wish we could be there today however we cannot attend. Mom and the boys will be up tonight for visitation. We are so sorry Gord Jane and Lisa you guys are in our hearts and prayers. Love Laura

Oh my...Fred certainly is being missed by many at St. Peter's Hospital!
What a wondeful man, such energy, calmness, an uncanny exceptance for what life had to offer, game to try things, eager to share his knowledge (I now know so much more about corn and all it brings to us), a lover of animals of all kinds but a real soft spot for dogs, very caring about others usually above himself, a great memory for jokes and oh how he loved the real groaners and chuckled hard everytime he told them.
His family....my sincerest condolences and I send a big hug.... he loved you all and you were so good to him and he appreciated your support so much. I know the memories you have of this wonderful man will truly help you through any difficult days ahead.
It has been such a privilege to have worked for him and I loved working with him.I know I will never look at a corn without thinking of "Farmer Fred".
Sincerely
Kim Morgan

We are so sorry to hear of your loss, Gord, Jane and Family. Uncle Fred will surely be missed by many people. I know we will miss driving all around Ontario looking at all the sights there is to see, and of course the frequent stops at all the Tim Horton's. He had a great sense of humour and a fantastic spirit. It isnt looking like we will be able to make it out there for his funeral, but please know that we will be thinking of all of you and we know that he will be laughing along with everyone at the open house at his favourite place "Famee Furlane"
Love from Tracy, Courtney, Kevin, and Kaelin
