Obituary of John Stanley MacDonald

MACDONALD, John Stanley October 24, 1931-June 21, 2010 Passed away peacefully at his home in his 79th year. Beloved husband of the late Loretta. Loved father of Jay and his wife Maureen and her son Michael. Also survived by sisters Carmel and Bernadine and his brother Danny. John is predeceased by parents Thomas and Lillian, brothers Ray, Tom, Fred and sisters Lorna and Eileen. Will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews as well as his many friends at the Donut Stop on Parkdale Ave, who always made sure that he got home safely (Thanks). Special thanks to Dr. Titus, Mary Jane and Staff, Dr. Hodson and Staff at the Juravinski Clinic. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home,36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Burlington, on Saturday, June 26 at 10 a.m. A procession will leave the Funeral Home at 9:30 a.m. On line condolences may be made at www.donaldvbrown.ca
