He was a great friend to me for years. I knew and loved the whole MacDonald family from Stan's mom and dad and sisters and brothers and the old regulars that came from down home at about the same time. There was always lots of laughs and fun at the MacDonalds' and all the friends of the kids were often to be found there. That was the family that everyone wanted to be with. Kind of like the 'in' people. They were all up front and caring and it was always a pleasure and an honor for me to visit. They were all handsome and lovely beyond the usual. God bless them all.
