Obituary of Hugh Gordon Kellogg

KELLOGG, Hugh Gordon At Queen’s Garden Nursing on Monday, November 14, 2011 in his 85th year. Beloved husband of the late Sarah (Martin) nee Walsh. Dear father of Rick Kellogg (Sylvia), Karin Martin (Trevor) and step-father of Cheryl Bender (Richard), Ken Martin (Elisabeth), Michael Martin (Candy), Dody Ferber (John), Stephen Martin, Predeceased by his step-children Andrew Martin, Marian Martin and Gordon Martin. Grandfather to Duane, Ryan, Amy, Sarah, Ariana, Michael-John, Evan, Kieran, Jeremy, Sierra, Jack, Jason and Shannon Great-grandfather to Emily, Ellaina and Meaghan. Dear brother of Ed Kellogg and Jean Smith. Hugh retired from Ottis Elevator and then was a School Bus Driver for several years in Stoney Creek. He was also a life time volunteer for the Red Cross, Volunteered with the Binbrook Little Theatre and was a member of Stoney Creek Toastmaster’s. Hugh and Sally had 25 years of retirement, traveling and enjoying life. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, November 17, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. with visitation 1 hour prior. Cremation to follow. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Red Cross would be appreciated by the family.
