Obituary of Joan Helen Johnson

JOHNSON, Joan Helen (Langton) Peacefully with her family by her side, at the Hamilton General Hospital on Monday, February 22, 2010 in her 78th year. A special star has gone to heaven. Beloved wife of Bill Johnson. Loving mother of William and his wife Angelika, Elaine and her husband Doug MacPhie, Brenda and her husband Howard Marcellus and Robert James Johnson and Sandra Young. Dear grandmother of William, Adam and his wife Michelle and Andrew Johnson, Christopher, Timothy and the late Kelly MacPhie. Loving Nanny to Kyle Fleming and his fiancé Angela Morley. Joan was predeceased by her brothers Jim and Bill Langton and sister-in-law Bertha. Will be sadly missed by her sister-in-law Vera along with her nieces, nephews and cousins; Joanne, Sharon, Tom and Rick. A private Funeral Service was held at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, Stoney Creek, yesterday, February 24th followed by interment in Tapleytown Cemetery.
