Obituary of Graham Johnson

JOHNSON, Graham (Murray Graham Massey) With great sadness we announce that Graham, in his 73rd year, passed away suddenly on Thursday, February 28th, 2013 at Hamilton General Hospital. Predeceased by parents Murray and Bernice Johnson (nee Massey) of Binbrook and eldest sister Marilyn Carrigan (John) of Winona, Graham will be greatly missed by siblings Barbara St. Laurent (Larry) of Ottawa, Sharron Marentette (Charlie) of Newbury, Kathryn Hutcheon (Ralph) of Tamworth, Susan Humble (Rod) of Strathmore, AB., Linda Prokop (Joe) of Hamilton, and Joe Johnson of Binbrook. Uncle Graham was much loved by 21 nieces and nephews and 37 great-nieces and nephews. Graham lived in the family home in Stoney Creek his entire life and was a long time employee of the Stoney Creek Post Office, one of the first postal workers to do home mail delivery. Graham also enjoyed stock car and drag racing for many years at various area dirt tracks. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Tuesday, March 5th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at 2:30 p.m. followed by interment at Stoney Creek Cemetery.
