JELIC, Ratko (Employee of McMaster University for 20 years). Suddenly at McMaster University on Wednesday, March 5, 2008, in his 66th year. Ratko Jelic, beloved husband of Ljilja (Lily). Dear father of Petar and Danijela. Brother of Joksim, Milenija (Ljubisa) and Jelena. Brother-in-law of Jovan and family. Special uncle of Bata. Also surviving are nieces, nephews and other relatives in Serbia and close friends in Canada and Serbia. Pre- deceased by his parents Ilija and Zorka, his sister Jelisavka and brother Petar. Friends will be received at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Saturday from 7-9 p.m. and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Pomen will be on Sunday at 8:00 p.m. Funeral service will be on Monday, March 10th at St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Cathedral (149 Nash Rd., Hamilton) at 11:00 a.m. The Very Reverend Father Lazar Vukojev officiating.
