To Tim, and Lisa's family:
It has been a privilege and honour to walk with Lisa on this bladder cancer journey. She lived with grace, spirit, compassion and concern for others and a passion to bring awareness of the disease that she bore with such dignity. She gave much to us and we have been enriched. May you know the comfort and strength of God and the support of family and friends. We now take up her torch!

My most heartfelt condolences to you, Tim and to your families. In my darkest hour, Lisa was there to encourage and inspire and most importantly, to educate. It was through this education that bladder cancer became a little less scary. She truly was a bright light, and I will never forget her. When you and she came to see me in the hospital, the love between you was so obviously wonderful. May God comfort you during this difficult time.

Tim, in the short time that we knew Lisa, we grew very fond of her. She was a champion for Bladder Cancer and fought a hard fight. We remember the first time we met "face to face" in Dr. Shayegan's waiting area at the Urology Clinic. Your love for her shone in your eyes.
Even though things were not going well in her battle, she was always so upbeat and supportive of all others in their struggles and always ready to help and offer a kind word of support.

To: Tim Hunt and Family
Lisa was a bright light for all who knew her. She had a wonderful sense of humour, a great IT mind, a caring heart and an infectious spirit. She was a shining example to all people who fight bladder cancer, or any other tragedy. She fought with courage, a positive attitude and a sense of humour. She loved you, Tim, very much.
The world is a little darker because of Lisa's passing. She was a bright light for the people who knew her. She will be a shining star looking down on us from above.
You are in my prayers during this difficult time. Words cannot convey my sympathies, but hopefully my prayers will help lift the load a little.
At Bladder Cancer Canada we will continue to raise awareness and funds so that the best of the best, like Lisa, have a better chance of beating bladder cancer.

Tim, may you and your family be comforted at this difficult time. I didn't have the priveledge of meeting Lisa but I did communicate with her via email and she was a real support and offered me encouragement with my own struggles with bladder cancer. Lisa is/was a true inspiration to us all. May you also be blessed for the tremendous support that you gave her. She called you her MacGyver for all the innovations you came up with. We at Bladder Cancer Canada will not give up the fight. I know that Lisa will be watching us all from above and cheering us on. All I can say about her is "You rock, girl!"

Tender thoughts & sweet memories … so sorry for the loss of your Lisa.
In ways big and small, Lisa’s life changed our world and left it a better place, and touched too many hearts to ever be forgotten. Lisa brightened the Ontario Securities Commission with her delightful sense of humor.
Tim, may you find comfort in knowing that many people
share your sadness.

I am deeply saddened from the loss of Lisa. Though I only knew her on the cancer forums and for a relatively short time, her contributions there were very significant and future patients will continue to learn from her accounts of her experience.
Thank you, Lisa, and you will never be forgotten.
