Obituary of Milos Babic

Babic, Milos Peacefully at home, and surrounded by his loving family, on August 30, 2009, at the age of 78, Milos passed away after a long battle with cancer. Predeceased by his beloved wife Nada (2007), Milos was a loving father and "Tajka" to his son Slobodan (Bob) and daughter-in-law Mary. "Deda" was dearly loved and will be forever missed by Sacha and Suzanne. He is survived by his brother Mihajlo and family. He will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, family and friends in Canada, Serbia, and Republika Srpska. Family and friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home at 36 Lake Avenue Drive in Stoney Creek on Wednesday, September 2 from 7-9 p.m. with Pomen Service taking place at 7:30 p.m. Funeral services and Interment will be held in Serbia. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Milos' memory to the Juravinski Cancer Centre Foundation.
