Obituary of Diane Horodecki

HORODECKI, Diane Peacefully, at St. Joseph’s Hospital on Tuesday, May 14, 2013. Cherished mother and friend of Tricia. Loving sister of Wayne and Bill (Lorraine). Dear aunt of Lindsey (Brad) and Brittany. She will be greatly missed by her cousins Jenny (Eddy), Roger (Linda), aunts Dora and Vicky and uncle Lionel. She will also be missed by her close friends Ruth, Diana, Joan, Krista, Connie and Pam. Family and friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, May 17, 2013 at 1 p.m. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations would be greatly appreciated to Providence (5232 4th St. SW, Calgary, AB, T2V 0Z4), where Diane’s daughter Tricia worked in Calgary as a teacher in an early intervention program for children with special needs.
