Obituary of Viola Marie Hopkins

HOPKINS, Viola Marie July 24, 1914 – November 14, 2012 With heavy hearts the family announces the sudden passing of their mother, grandmother and great- grandmother. Predeceased by her loving husband Tom. Survived by her devoted sons John (Charlotte), Donald (Lila) and Ed (Joann), 6 grandchildren and 4 great- grandchildren, sister of Rita Smith (Florida), brother-in-law Arnold Bergin (Beeton) and sister-in-law Kay Vienneau (Stellarton, N.S.). Will also be missed by many dear nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Fred and Ed Vienneau and sisters Jenny Burns, Doris Scriver, Mary Bergin. Special thank you to all the staff at Arbour Creek LTC for all the kindness shown to our mother over the years. Thanks especially to Danielle and Merna. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Sunday, November 18, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with Vigil Prayers at 3:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Incarnation of Our Blessed Lord R.C. Church (Nash Rd. and Barton St.) on Monday, November 19, 2012 at 9 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Donations to the Charity of your choice would be appreciated.
