Obituary of Gordon Hollingsworth

HOLLINGSWORTH, Gordon It is with heavy hearts that our family announce the sudden passing of our beloved dad on Saturday, December 29, 2012 in his 88th year. Predeceased by his loving wife Catherine (2003), daughter Deborah (1982) and grandson Sean (1991). He is loved and remembered by his 5 children, David (Kim), Linda (Bob), Cathy (the late Mark), Karen (Paul) and Carol (Gary). Will be forever missed by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survived by his sister Ruth and brother Cy. Will also be missed by brothers and sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews. Dear friend of Rita. Gord was an honourable veteran of WWII and the Korean War. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 from 12 noon until the time of Funeral Service at 1 p.m. Interment to follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
