Obituary of Myrtle Holdsworth

HOLDSWORTH, Myrtle (Elvin) Myrtle passed away in her 90th year on April 20, 2011 at Trinity Village Care Centre, Kitchener, ON. Myrtle fell asleep on earth and woke up in heaven with her Lord whom she served faithfully for many years as a Sunday School teacher, nursery worker and church social convenor. Myrtle was pre-deceased by her husband Jack (Cecil), son James, granddaughter Shelly and son-in-law Jared Pequegnat. Myrtle will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Joan Pequegnat, her son Robert (Vicki) Holdsworth, daughter-in-law Linda Holdsworth, eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, brother, sisters, nieces, nephews and many friends. The family would like to thank the care-givers at Trinity Village for all the love and kindness they showed to Myrtle over the last six years, especially those workers in PineWoods. The funeral service will be at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, ON April 23, 2011. Visitation will take place at noon followed by the service at 2 p.m. with Pastor Marc Reid officiating.
