Obituary of Nina Hoffman

HOFFMAN, Nina Peacefully at St. Peter's Hospital on Saturday, October 16, 2010, in her 88th year. Beloved wife of 67 years to William (Bill). Loving mother of Donna and her husband Moe Slocki, and the late Robert. Loved grandma of Marie, Gregory, Brian, Michael, Andrew, Adam, Tammy and 6 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents Adolf and Ethel Olaveson and a sister Betty. Survived by her sister Marjorie Marshall and her brother Alex Olaveson. Nina was a retired employee of Firestone. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek (due to road construction please follow Second St. north from King St., turn right on Charles St.) on Monday from 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral service to be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, October 19th at 1 p.m. Cremation to follow, In Nina's memory, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or St. Peter's Hospital would be appreciated.
