Obituary of Larry Steven Hodgson

HODGSON, Larry Steven Born on March 10, 1958 in Hamilton, peacefully passed away on Friday, May 11, 2012 at the Juravinski Hospital in Hamilton. Beloved son of Bob and Ruth Hodgson of Stoney Creek, ON. Sadly missed by his sister Lori (Kevin) and brother Rob. Cherished uncle to Lisa, Amanda and Kyle. Will be remembered by Barbara and his stepchildren, Jamie and Ashley Sportun. Dearly loved by his Aunt Audrey, Aunt Joan (Keith), Aunt June, cousins, and his many friends. Larry was active in real estate in the Hamilton and Burlington area and played touch football for over 30 years with the Golden Horseshoe Touch Football Association (Burl). He was inducted into the Golden Horseshoe Touch Football League Hall of Fame in 2002. Special thanks to the Hospital staff, Ward C3 at Juravinski Hospital and many caring friends. Family and friends will be received at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Sunday, May 13, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Monday, May 14, 2012 from 12:30 p.m. until the time of service in the Funeral Home Chapel at 2:30 p.m. Cremation to follow.
