Obituary of Richard Hoblyn

HOBLYN, Richard July 22, 1953 - March 13, 2013 Died suddenly at home as a result of a heart attack in his 60th year. Survived by his sister Carol Hoblyn-Winn and her husband John. He will also be missed by his soulmate Deb Anderson and her grandchildren J.D. and Summer. Predeceased by his parents Alma (2002), Russell (2006) and sister Susan (2008). Also survived by family and friends in Hamilton, Calgary, Manitoulin Island and Sudbury. He will also be missed by his beloved animal companions. Rick was a retired employee of the LCBO after 32 years of service. He was happiest when camping, hiking the Bruce Trail and he enjoyed cycling. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at Donald V. Brown FuneraL Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Friday, March 22, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with a Memorial Service to be held at 7 p.m. An interment will be held at Woodland Cemetery at a later date.
