Obituary of Philip Hitchcock

HITCHCOCK, Philip Peacefully at his home in St. Catharines, with his family by his side, on Monday, May 27, 2013, in his 77th year. Beloved husband of Jeanne. Loving father of Joan and John Sherwood , John and Patti, Paul and Tracy and Rob and Michelle Hitchcock. Cherished grandfather of Aaron and Bryson Hitchcock, Angela and Jordan Walychuck, Connor and Adam Hitchcock, Ava and Matthew Hitchcock and great-grandson Zane. Will also be sadly missed by his sister Jennifer Montieth (Neville) along with his nieces and nephews. Phil was a Radio Personality with C.H.M.L. for 41 years and will also be sadly missed by his friends in the broadcasting industry. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Saturday, June 1, 2013 from 12 Noon until the Celebration of his life at 3 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Hamilton or St. Catharines S.P.C.A., would be appreciated by the family.
