Obituary of Bryan Hirst

HIRST, Bryan After a brief illness, Bryan passed away at the Hamilton General Hospital, on Friday, October 5, 2012, in his 78th year. Beloved husband of Marilyn (Shaw). Loving father of Rev. Rhonda Hirst and Wayne and Joy Hirst. Dear grandfather of Steven and Jessica. Predeceased by his parents George and Isabell Hirst. Also survived by relatives in the Bell and Shaw families. Bryan was a retired Fire Chief of the Stoney Creek Fire Department. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Sunday, October 14 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Celebration of his life will be held at Stoney Creek United Church (King St. and Lake Ave.), on Monday, October 15 at 11 a.m. Inurnment Mountview Gardens.
