I was heartbroken to hear about the passing of Damien. There are no words that can truly capture the depth of sorrow that comes with the loss of someone so young, so full of life, and so deeply loved. Damien had such a bright and beautiful spirit. I will always remember how much joy he brought to those around him. Whether it was his infectious laughter, his willingness to lend a hand. My son was in Damien’s class. They were pretty good friends. When ever my son Gabriel would feel left out in a game at recess time Damien would be right there making sure he felt included and they always had a blast! I am so sorry for this loss! It hit me pretty deep! Rest in paradise Damien! You are greatly loved and missed and will never ever be forgotten! Gabe still has your party invitation in his back pack that he was planning on giving to you last Monday for his birthday over the weekend! You were definitely thought about that day and will always have a place in gabes heart with cherished memories!

Words can't express how much we will miss Damien. I taught school for 25 years and never met a kinder, sweeter, cooler kid. Whether he was making a fort, racing cars with Mama or just hanging out with the grownups he made everyone's day better. He made our lives better. Thank you Damien. You will be missed.
