Obituary of John "Jack" Binns

Passed away peacefully, at St. Peter’s Hospital, on Friday, January 10, 2025, in his 87th year. Beloved husband of Darlene for 65 years. Dearly loved father of Monty (Alison), the late Mark (Jessie), and Darrin (Sandra). Cherished grandfather of Bailey (Justin), Mallory (Mitchell), Rachael (Gavin), Nicole, Jake, Alexandra (Matthew), John Jr., and great-grandfather of Elara. He will be greatly missed by his many nieces and nephews.

John was proud to be the owner/operator of Binns Lock and Key Centre for 50 years. He will be remembered for his absolute love of family, always devoting his time to be around those he cared for deeply.

Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Friday, January 24, from 6-8 p.m. and Saturday, January 25 from 1 p.m. until the time of Funeral service at 2 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
