With heavy hearts and great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Shirley on Saturday, December 21, 2024 in her 95th year. Reunited with the love of her life, her beloved husband Bill (2017). Loving and dedicated Mom of Joanne, Kerry and Bob. Cherished Nana of Matt (Sandra), Carley (Nathan), Caitlin (Derek), Haley (Alistair), Rylie (Dillon). Loving Nana Shibby to 13 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her sisters, Jean, Gretta, Bessie, Elsie, Nessie and Laura. Lovingly remembered by sister-in-law Marilyn McCulloch and many nieces and nephews.

Shirley was a retired employee of Procter & Gamble and a member of Cheyne Presbyterian Church. A very heartfelt thank you to Dr. Steven Cusimano and the wonderful and caring staff at Orchard Terrace LTC.

Funeral Service will be held at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, Saturday, January 18th at 9:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Mountview Gardens Cemetery. Notes of sympathy and condolences may be left at www.donaldvbrown.ca. In lieu of flowers donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.

Mom, your love, courage and strength were an inspiration to us all.
