What sad news on the passing of such a vibrant and memborable student. As a young woman, it looks as if her passion for life lived on in all her endeavors and in her family. How wonderful she has had the great joy of children and has been loved by family and friends in her short time with us. My greatest sympathies...hoping you find comfort in the love she had for you which is never ephemeral when we remember her sincere and generous relationship with us. How blessed we are to have known her.

We have known Rachel, Michael and Sarah from birth and watched them grow up. Rachel, such a talented girl, loved her music and did so well in her studies. These talents stayed with her and she became a wonderful nurse. Our heartfelt sympathies go out to Liz, Frazer, Michael, Sarah, Adam and the children.
May God hold you Rachel in the palm of his hand.

I will remember Rachel for her many loves; her beautiful children, her family and friends, and her profession. She made a difference in the lives of those she cared for, taught, and worked with. The nursing profession has lost a truly caring and compassionate nurse.
Her wonderful spirit, sense of humour, and all the wonderful times we had at CVH will not be forgotten by colleagues.
When I learned of Rachel death a deep sadness filled my heart and soul, but my faith leads me to believe she is in a most wonderful place watching over those near to her.
To her children and family, I hope that memories of all the most wonderful and happy times you had together will sustain you, and in time you will find peace with these thoughts. I know I have many cherished memories and my life is richer having shared it with Rachel.
You are in my thoughts and prayers.

I've often thought about Rachel - a powerful young woman with strong goals and a good heart. She taught me a great deal about following your passion, I hope she has passed this on to her family. I can't imagine loosing a daughter, sister, mother or spouse - find strength in each other.

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
3For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven: 2a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted; 3a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; 4a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; 5a time to throw away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; 6a time to seek, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to throw away; 7a time to tear, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; 8a time to love, and a time to hate; a time for war, and a time for peace.
