Obituary of Sharon Elizabeth Kerr

It is with heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Sharon Elizabeth Kerr on Tuesday, December 31, 2024 in her 82nd year. She will be missed by her family, Maureen Eitel (the late John) and Carolyn and Carmen Frosina. Aunt of Jamie and Mel Eitel, Jen and Mark Hall, Paul and Mimoza Frosina and Carla Frosina. Great aunt of Noah Hall. Predeceased by her friend Arlene lrvine.

Through the years Sharon played on many championship basketball and baseball teams and enjoyed many rounds of golf. Sharon taught in the secondary schools of St. Catharines where she also coached basketball and was the supervisor of student councils. After retirement she enjoyed spending the winter months in Deland, Florida and the summer months in Stoney Creek. The family thanks her friends from both of these residences for their concern and memories shared through this journey. Sharon's family would like to thank the staff at Emmanuel House Hospice for their compassionate care for Sharon and the family during her stay.

At her request cremation has taken place. A time to share and visit with the family will be held on Sunday, January 5, 2025 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek. In lieu of flowers, donations to Emmanuel House Hospice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
