Obituary of Sigrid Rosalinde Sassmann

(nee Püschel)

Sigrid passed away on December  23, 2024 in  her 88th year. Sigrid was born in Nissma, Germany and immigrated to Canada in 1959. She had many friends and loved ones who will miss her greatly. Sigrid was predeceased by her beloved husband Heinz (2004). Loving mother of Angelika Johnson (Bill), Lutz Bahn (Donna), Janet Urie (Rob) and Steven Bahn (Niki). She was Oma to William (Erin), Adam (Michelle), Andrew (Crystal), Katrina, Matthew (Kristin), Erica (Derek), Kevin (Ashley), Mila, Tara and Petra. She was also Omi to many great-grandchildren. Special thanks to the staff at The Wellington Nursing Home for their compassionate care.

Cremation has taken place. A private family celebration will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. Notes of sympathy and condolence may be left at www.donaldvbrown.ca
