Obituary of Karen Rose Price

Peacefully, our Angel on Earth returned to Heaven on Saturday, December 21, 2024.

Daughter of Fred and Rose, sister to Bev and Norm (predeceased). Cherished mother to Jennifer and Kathryn, and mother-in-law to Dan R. and Jennifer G. Proud grandma to Kayla, Angel, Emma, Ashlyn, and Andrew. A devoted aunt to Chris and Liese, and cousin to many. Lifelong friend to Wes, Marion and Pat.  Caring friend and neighbour to all. 

A retired teacher who dedicated over 35 years to shaping young minds, Karen was a beloved friend and colleague to all who had the privilege of working with her. Her compassion extended beyond the classroom—she was a constant source of support to anyone in need.

Karen had a deep love for animals, taking in those who were abandoned or forgotten, and caring for them as her own. Her generosity, kindness, and caring nature were felt by everyone she encountered.

Karen was an avid reader, a wonderful cook, gardener and talented artist, quilter and crafter.

She will be remembered for her selflessness, her unwavering support, and her gentle, loving heart.

Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME,  36 Lake Avenue Dr., Stoney Creek on Saturday, December 28, 2024 from 1:30pm until the time of Funeral Service at 4:30pm in the funeral home chapel.
