Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, December 1, 2024 at Margaret’s Place Hospice in Dundas at the age of 73.

Loving father of Nichole, Blair (Vicki), and Brent. Papa will always be cherished by Marissa, Nicholas, Kristian, Zachary and William. He will be missed by his devoted partner Karen, and by his brother Bill and his wife Barb.

Richard will be dearly missed by his friends and golfing family at Kings Forest Golf Course, where he loved the comradery and friendship. He had a passion for bowling, both as a coach and a player in a league for many years. He also enjoyed his garden and visits to the casino.

Friends and family will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Thursday, December 5 from 3-7 p.m. There will be a Funeral Service in the Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, December 6 at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Mountview Gardens Cemetery.
