Obituary of Robert Palmer

Passed away peacefully at Idlewyld Manor, on November 24, 2024, at the age of 87. Bob was born in Creighton Mine, ON, the son of Sam and Kay Palmer (deceased). He is predeceased by his siblings, Stella, Jean, and Tom.

Bob will be fondly remembered by his nephew and nieces, as well as his great-nieces and great-nephews. Bob cherished his long-time friends and family, and especially cherished Andrew for his ongoing support and weekly visits. 

In his younger days Bob enjoyed his work as a mechanic at his parents’ business, Gray 8 Motors in Stoney Creek. During his retirement Bob loved fishing, spending time at his trailer, and browsing at garage sales.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to Able Living and most recently the incredible team at Idlewyld Manor for their kindness, care, and compassion. To the earth angels of Rose Garden, we are forever grateful.

Cremation has taken place, and a private interment will take place at a later date.
