Mary for almost 40 years was a good next door neighbour someone you could always count on for a smile or a wave .Never once did we not enjoy living next to her and Ralph and it is with much sadness that we her special light is gone for us... Her cards she did and her pressed flowers . Years ago when our daughter passed she would let our son who was in the terrible twos come to the house because he liked being around her children and she even set up a box of toys for him inside the front door for him to play with .. I remember one day they were out and I guess he went in and someone came to the door to see them and Michael was playing with the box of toys and told they no one was at home Mary had a big laugh out of that one..She will be missed by many From:Wilf and Linda Wilson.

I'm remembering the first time I met Mary. She had joined the Glanbrook Ladies Recreation Skating Club to learn how to skate. She was so enthusiatic and had a passion to learn anything we gave her to do. She even participated in our Shows. I'm thinking back and remember that, myself and the other coachs were concerned about a lady of her age on skates. Mary would have been my age now and I know I could have never done what she accomplished.
Later Mary would always call me when she was having a yard sale. She knew I liked to quilt with old material and she'd always have a bag for me. One bag contained a white eyelet dress. I called her to make sure it wasn't a mistake. She said, "That old thing. My Mom made me and my sister those to wear to a function at Gage Park". She didn't want it nor did she think anyone else did. I proceeded to clean it up, and it now hangs in my guest room accompanied with a picture that Mary found of her and her sister standing in front of the Gage Park Fountain.
Mary was a great woman and one helluva broad.
Miss you Mary.
