It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Luciana Vergamini on Sunday November 3, 2024 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Hamilton at the age of 84. Cherished wife to the late Vittoriano (2004). Proud mother to Anna (Jim). Loving Grandmother to Luke (Amber) and Leah (Jesse), and Great-Grandmother to Lottie and Lucy. Luciana was born in Molazzana, Italy on September 4, 1940 to Armida and Giuseppe Biagioni, and is predeceased by her siblings Sergio and Renzo. Luciana’s joy came from spending time with her family, especially her Great-Grandchildren.

Her family would like to sincerely thank the staff at St. Joseph’s Hospital for their exceptional care during Luciana’s stay. Cremation has taken place.

Visitation will be held at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Saturday, November 9, 2024 from 11-12 p.m. A Celebration of Luciana’s Life will immediately follow in the Funeral Home Chapel at 12 p.m. Reception to follow. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date.
