Dear Cheryl & Family:
I just found out about the repose of your dear husband at such a young age. Peter, John & I played together as kids in & around Tate St., in the east end. The sudden realization that Peter is no longer with us is hard to reconcile. Please accept my belated, sincere condolences in the loss of your loved one. May Peter's memory be eternal.

Peter(PEDRO)Polak. Was a good buddy of mine. He was in a class all by himself. Always sharp dressed man and big fancy cars. Oh ya he was stying. We won lots of hockey championships together from westinghouse tourny hockey to mens hockey at the doublerinks. Pedro always knew how to have a good time. My deepest condolences to Cheryl and family. We really lost a good one in Pedro. RIP my bother. God Bless. Love ya bro. Gerry MacIsaac

When I bought income property on Spadina Ave in the fall of 2011, I didn't know any of the neighbours.
This guy comes over an introduces himself as 'The King of Spadina' and that he will be watching.
I thought that the Hammer was tough, but what did I get myself into?
It wasn't very long that my DYI skills were put into use to address Pedro and Cheryl's squirrel
problems in their attic.
Over the next 3 yrs, we enjoyed Brava beers watching the Ti-cats on this 'found TV', in his favourite chair on his front porch.
Pedro loved to tell a good story: his hockey exploits, local politics and the Spadina neighbourhood, etc.
We able to visit Pedro and Cheryl recently on our way to a Ti-cats game. .
Pedro's charm, charisma, humour and no nonsense attitude will be sorely missed.
Pedro was 'one of a kind'

Many memories of fun times with Peter from him stopping at my house for morning coffee while he visited relatives on our street years back, to some wild evenings out an about… always had a smile on his face Peter (Pedro) & his brother (Handsome) Johnny were main stays in our group of buddies… peace n love to all.

Pedro you were such a great guy and so much fun . We had lots of good times together and won many hockey championships at Westinghouse and mens hockey leagues. You with your classic Jofa helmet was a classic always making people laugh and smile. You will be missed dearly by Cheryl and family and your friends . RIP my brandy sniffing brother. Gerry MacIsaac
