Passed peacefully at West Haldimand General Hospital on October 8, 2024 at the age of 90. Predeceased by his loving wife Rita (2017). Loving father to Sally and her husband Lindsay Perry, and Rita and her husband Gord Ackerman. Proud Papa of Sarah, Megan, Brittney, and Derrick. He will be missed by extended family in Ireland, England, the U.S., and Canada.

Our family would like to give a heartfelt thank you to the farming community Mike surrounded himself with for all the help they provided over the years and in recent times.

His passions were working as a crane operator, and later in life, farming. He will be remembered for his hard work ethic and Irish accent.

As per Mike’s wishes, no visitation will take place, but all are invited to a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Assumption Parish, 63 Highway 20 E, Stoney Creek, on Tuesday October 15 at 11:30 a.m. Burial to follow at Our Lady of the Angels Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Heart and Stroke or the Canadian Lung Association would be appreciated.

He will be greatly missed as a loving Dad and Papa.
