March 3, 1941 - October 4, 2024

With heavy hearts we share the sudden passing of Henry, at St. Joseph’s Hospital at the age of 83. Beloved husband of Judy (Veres) for 54 years. Dearly loved father of Steve (Sandy), Scott (Kim), Tim (Emily). Cherished Papa to Sebastian and Lucas, Noah, Jake, Isaac, Livia, and Joy, Justin and Lily. Dear brother of Ed (Rose) and Bill (predeceased). Loving son of the late Tony and Mary Strecker. Henry will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He dedicated much of his life as co-owner of Britannia Cleaners and Strecker Bros. When he wasn’t working, he enjoyed fishing, gardening, and most of all, spending time with his family.

Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, from 4-8 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at 11 a.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
