Obituary of Kristina Medakiewicz

Passed away suddenly, on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at the age of 60. Dearly loved mother of Alyssia and her husband Byron Freeman, and Phil Cancilla and his partner Carly Richardson. Cherished Babcia of Grace and Harrison Freeman, and Bayleigh Cancilla. She will be missed by her dog Georgie, her cat Cookie, and by her granddogs Vader, Khaleesi, Wrangler, and grandcat Jewels, who she loved so much.

Kristina had an absolute love for spending time with family and hosting large gatherings. She treasured her time spent with those she loved. She was always excited to go shopping with her granddaughter Grace and loved meeting new people. She could often be found tending to her garden.

Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at 1:30 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel.
